Show Me a Day When the World Wasn’t New

3 dancers | 1 hour

We invite you to rediscover wonder and play in our full-evening interactive dance-theater work conceived and directed by Kaley Pruitt in collaboration with performers Patrick Marquice Ingram and Megan Wubbenhorst. Audiences are taken on a journey that will rekindle their childhood imagination through games and storytelling. Show Me a Day When the World Wasn’t New conjures nostalgia and a renewed sense of community. The performance explores themes of loss of innocence, coming of age, and human connection. Audiences can opt in or out of interactive games interspersed with viewing danced choreography and listening to stories told by the performers. The performers utilize the mediums of dance, theater, storytelling, and spoken word and interact with each other and audience members. Everyone leaves with a smile and will be able to look back on something in their past in a new light.
